From September 7th to 9th, 2010, the Embassy of Japan conducted the 11th Japanese Film Festival in Bhutan, visiting Mothithang HSS (Thimphu), Bajothang HSS (Wangduephodrang), and Drukgyel HSS (Paro). In the festival, recently released Japanese films including “Kabei: Our Mother,” “The Girl Who Leapt through Time,” “The Place Promised in our Early Days,” and “5 Centimeters per Second” were screened and appreciated by the Bhutanese high school students participated in the events.
